I currently develop informatics solutions for a French Pharmaceutical company that uses biochemical assays to test compounds to see their potential drug interactions, efficacy and bioavaliability. The data that I work with is put into databases. From these databases we hope to be able to predict function based on strucutral characteristics and predit if a paticular compound will make it through FDA trials by comparing its biochemical properties to other compounds.
