This is my (Eric's) CX-100 LeMans. In 1994 we flew over to England and bought this bike second hand from Robert Payne. It was in good shape but had a pinched carb manifold. It just wouldn't idle. Steve and Debra Attwood kindly invited us over to their place in Ampthill and helped Eric sort out the problems with the bike. After getting the bike running right we left for TT week on the Isle of Mann and 7,000 more miles around Europe. Great tour but the LeMans is not the best for a passenger. Ask Eva how she likes that LeMans saddle ;^)
Check out the LeMans Registry under VIN #208298 for more info. This bike is pictured in Greg Field's book "Moto Guzzi Big Twins" on pages 79 and 80.

The 850T restoration project.
The last time this bike was run was in 1995. After getting this bike assembled I still have some issues to work out. The steering lock goes to far in one direction and the forks run into the newly painted tank. The charging system is not functioning. And the tachometer is not behaving as it should. I still have time to work out these problems. The motor does run strong, which is very important.
After talking to Lin, she convinced me to put "Interceptor" on the battery covers. The bike shows up on the title as INT850 and Lin checked it out with Dave at Moto International and was told that the original name for the 850T was 850 Interceptor. I don't know what this bike could intercept but the decals on look cool.
The bike is now at it's permanent home in Sweden. We are currently on a trip will up through Sweden and plan to turn around at Nordkapp and travel down the coast of Norway. It will be a similar route as Giuseppe Guzzi made in those early years. There is a new addition to our Guzzi family, a white and black '81 V50 Monza. An image will be here soon, after our trip to Norway. We should be back in the states after the 4th of July.

View images from our pilgrimage to Mandello del Lario. We brought the 850T home to see it's birthplace.

If in the area check out our local Guzzi Club. They are a friendly group of riders that enjoy meeting new faces.
