The Traditional Storm Window Project
"Storm windows? So what?" So I made them myself, all 10 frames. They're traditional style, hard oak, painted, and all that. They attach at top and swing open for year-round use. I made them in order to reduce outdoor (mostly road) noise and protect the original leaded glass (where it survives) until I can pay an expert to come in and repair all the damage, and replace the stuff that Mr. Fixit replaced with 60s-era translucent sheets.

I really can't wait to get that nasty 50s cement tile siding off.
